I stopped by to pick up some take out since I wanted Hainan chicken and Betong was downstairs from my hotel. I walked in to place and order. They do not take card. Cash only. I had to wait until my parent came to bring me some cash as I only carry card. Haha. So I ordered hainan chicken rice. It's one of my favorite dishes and we don't have great options in Orlando. I also ordered roti which in NY usually comes with chicken in the curry sauce. My son ordered a curry chicken and rice. All the food was good.

Ordered the meal for two: + chicken was fresh and juicy + dipping sauce for the chicken is a must + cabbage was oily, but cooked perfectly! They were crisp/crunchy and not soggy at all. + good portion for two people - soup was too oily - rice could've had more chicken flavor infused - I was looking forward to the string beans, which is what was advertised on the menu. Looking at other reviews, it seems that substituting the veggies is a frequent occurrence.

Betong Hainan Chicken was so good. My husband's been on a mission recently craving Hainan Chicken, and absolutely loved this place. It's a small hole in the walk place, however those are always the best too. We went early afternoon, it was quiet but more time to figure out what to eat since we were hungry. Appetizer and our entrées were delicious. Before your food arrives, you are served a hot drink and a small bowl of white potato soup. Our appetizer was soft, crisp, with the curry sauce. Our entrées were a great portion, made to perfection. There were only two people working, the chef who is mostly behind the scenes getting through the kitchen and delivering the food up and our waitress were a small team. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive each time she came over to see if we needed anything or checked in to ask how our food was. At most, you just need to look for parking in Flushing. Since it's right by main street, it can ge extremely busy. I recommend you park elsewhere, and take the walk going to Betong Hainan Chicken. It might be hard to miss from the outside, just look for the restaurant carefully. All major credit cards and cash are accepted. Great food, friendly staff, looking forward to our next visit back.

I stopped by here the other day, I ordered the Khao man gai. Taste: It was very good, the rice had good ginger flavor and the chicken was nice, tender and juicy. Price: It was not expensive at all. Overall: Will definitely stop by here again.

This place is a small hole in the wall restaurant and make sure to bring cash. They don't have Apple Pay but they do take venmo. I was looking for something healthy after a workout and this really hit the spot. My friend and I got the family order for two which comes with 2 chicken rice, hainan chicken, roti canai, and string beans. I loved all of it, the chicken looks bland but tasted good with the spicy sauce. Really, I don't even like string beans and I still ate a ton. They also give complimentary soup which was rlly good. It was a good amount for both of us and pretty filling. Our total only came out to a $21 and some change! I'd definitely come back.

Amazing hainan chicken combo~ extremely well priced! This place did not have ac when I went, and the service was a little slow. I would skip on the curry (roti) dish, however I would highly recommend their hainan chicken dish!

OMG Flushing finally has an authentic Thai chicken on rice spot. I had high hopes after seeing my buddy post pics from this spot and I'm so happy I got to try their food out. Located in the bones of my dad's former favorite Taiwanese spot (RIP Gushine), this place is unassuming and serves a plethora of chicken and rice dishes. You can try them all but if you're here, you're here for the Hainanese Chicken rice, which is what I got. The rice was fluffy and flavorful with just the right amount of chicken essence. The chicken was tender and deboned (which is a staple of how Thai people prepare this dish) and the sauce was mouth waveringly good. If I had to compare, their version is reminiscent of the imcomparable Eim Khao Mun Gai in Elmhurst which is the best in the city. Prices are affordable and the staff was very friendly. Their food is top notch and I'm super happy I don't need to run to Elmhurst anymore to get my Thai style Hainan chicken rice fix anymore. Big thumbs up.
